My wife and I wandered into Imperial Express about eight years ago on a Friday night waiting for my son to finish a hip hop class he was taking in a nearby now defunct studio. We didn't expect much. I've been going every Friday ever since. If I miss my routine, Keith, who runs the front counter, asks me where I've been. I order the same thing: kung pao chicken over noodle. It's a big spicy. And I am addicted. I'll admit it. I'm not ashamed. I have just the one meal a week. I usually get two barbecue pork buns on the side. It's a lot of food and the prices are quite reasonable. Actually they're on the low side. I could eat there every day of the week. If I were a single guy, I probably would. So if you head there on a Friday, between 6 and 7 p.m., I might see you. There's a bunch of us regulars.
