I had my sleep study done last November. They had just opened their new facility. The facility itself is very difficult to find and I had difficulty finding it on my follow up too. My Sleep Study experience was absolutely wonderful! I seriously dreaded having it done and had procrastinated and didn't think I'd be able to sleep especially because I suffer from severe insomnia. The staff was absolutely amazing of explaining everything that was going to happen and making sure I was comfortable. Where I'm not quite sure about the doctor I saw and when I was told to follow up in a year. As a nurse, the follow up in a year with me having been diagnosed with "severe sleep apnea". I needing to make some major changes in my medications… It just seemed a ways out there for a follow up. However, Kathy at the sleep center has been absolutely phenomenal in answering any questions I have and making me feel very comfortable that I am being "watched" and adjustments with my CPAP are being made as needed and also as Per my request. So overall I really feel comfortable and highly recommend University North medical sleep specialty center!
